| I have lived a love-hate relationship with alloy wheels. The fact that they are perfect when you get them on a new car is proof that tire installation can be done w/o causing damage to the wheel. While their lifetime is limited to how long before they get "curbed" (and this is inevitable in a daily driver) it makes me furious when a place like "tire kindom" gouges around the air valve when repacing it, marks the rim with the bead breaker by poor aim or drops the rim face down for some spoke damage. The tires on my Z, fitted to the now defunct SSR GT-1s are showing the threads. Is there a place in the world (short of me buying a 5,000 machine) that could remove and install new tires w/o me discvering some sor of evidence this was done?
